Madison Hall

Madison Hall is scheduled to have a Louisiana State Capital Outlay Funded Project managed by LA Facility Planning and Control that will renovate all HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing and finishes and spaces. This is a Three Phase $16 Million Renovation over the next few years Spring/Summer 2024 through July 2026. The anticipated and hopeful Full Building Completion and Reopening date will be before the Fall 2026 Semester if the project goes according to plan with no major surprises or setbacks. The plan is to finish each phase in the scheduled time and allow for a 1-to-2-month construction pause window between each phase to move into completed areas and out of the next phase’s work area.

Details of the work include upgrading and improving ADA Accessibility throughout the facility, new and renovated doors, raising some ceilings, and restructuring walls and spaces to accommodate today’s Engineering Department needs. This project includes new HVAC systems, electrical upgrades, restroom renovations and other finishes and surfaces will be improved.

This is a 1957 constructed building that has not had a major upgrade or overall building wide interior renovation since it was built.
